Team Roaring Mouse racers have exploded on the track racing scene this season, continuing on their growth from last year. Many new faces at the local track at Hellyer Park in San Jose. Veteran riders like Nole Studley and stalwart attendants like Cathy Morgan have helped to shepherd in the new talent…….and all things bicycle superstar Bev Chaney will undoubtedly become a force in her “final frontier” of bicycle competition. Jay Parkhill has been slaying the B fields on wednesday nights and we look forward to him joining the A group in the coming weeks. Ed “walking disaster” Ceasar has shown great potential as well, and is learning fast, despite himself.
Over the weekend Ben and Nole competed in the Far West International Style Omnium at Encino Velodrome in SoCal. They learned a lot and had fun riding the steeper banking down there. A steady overall performance and super teamwork from Nole allowed Ben to win the days event. Glory To the Mouse!
Looks like San Jose is protesting his 3rd place or something. Did he get pipped at the line?
